Inspired by the CX-F Idea automobile, the XF features a low roofline, an athletic stance and tastefully minimalistic chrome trim, touches that conspire to generate an elegant and purposeful look. The 2013 Cadillac XTS comes with a three.6-liter V-6 engine with variable valve timing and direct injection, lovely for about 300 bhp and 264 lb.-ft. of torque. Using electronically controlled shocks containing magnetorheological liquid (in lieu of traditional valves), the shock absorbers on the XTS can alter damping in as tiny as milliseconds. Iron particles in the liquid react to magnetic charge, increasing damping resistance  instantly. This matchless process is matched to a MacPherson-type front and linked H-arm rear suspension with air shocks to provide direct steering feel and driving feel over varying surfaces.
